Luis Suárez — not to be confused with the Uruguayan legend — is a Colombian forward who has carved out a journeyman career across Spain's lower divisions before earning a move to Sporting CP in Lisbon. Spells at Granada and Almería gave him Segunda División experience, but his time in Portugal represents the highest level he has competed at consistently. Still only 28, he provides Colombia's squad with depth rather than a starting berth, offering a physical presence and work rate that coaches can call upon from the bench when a different attacking shape is needed.
