What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise the historic charm of Francis Close Hall and the welcoming atmosphere of campus events, particularly in the chapel. The engaging lectures and real-world applicable assignments are also highlighted positively. However, some reviews mention issues with student housing deadlines and a perceived lack of concern for student feedback during their course.
"The Francis Close hall chapel is a very welcoming place for visitors where they may have some wonderful staff. I attended there for two events. First one was a student welcoming event with foods, snacks, drinks and indoor games. Second one was a public talk with a BBC journalist who shared his experience of Pakistan and Afghanistan."
MD AMINUL ISLAM (Rana)
"I had mixed experiences with the Uni over the duration of a year. The majority of lectures are engaging and utilise real-world applicable assignments, activities, and examples. One major negative was the student housing deadline set to end a month before dissertation hand in - this does not even cover the course duration and requires students to find and move into new accommodation during the most stressful time of the course. My cohort was also simply used as guinea pigs for the coming years, with none of our concerns addressed or ameliorated during our course time. A new head of department was assigned towards the end of the first semester, who seemed to be making changes for the better."

"It is the old buildings but so interesting place. Students studying computer and data science are proud of their campus."
