Many praise the free admission, abundant wildlife, and well-maintained trails, offering a peaceful escape from the Las Vegas Strip. "Wetlands has so many interesting sites to see and things to do. The visited center is amazing, with classrooms and displays. If you can take a walk, go see the stream as it tumbles into beautiful rapids. Great place for a weekly walk or to get out with the family."

"Beautiful wildlife area. Mostly random birds are visible. Water and lots of short pathways. I walked a mile, and there was plenty more to see. It reminded me of a desert oasis version of Norfolk Botanical Garden, where i'm from."

"I enjoy coming here with my son to immerse myself in nature.I love that it has a wild feel to it.I love the tall blades of grass and the fields that look like wheat,I don't think it's actual wheat, but still very pretty. The water surrounding it is a treat,it's the wash that goes through the city but it's a nice break from the desert landscape that surrounds it.Big bridge to stand & watch the wildlife in the wash.We saw a crane.Great trails for bikers to ride as much as they want.Clean walking trails, most including duck creek are stroller friendly. The benches are a nice touch to just sit and take in the beautiful scenery. They also have a playground. My only complaint is all the houses & development surrounding it.I like the feeling of getting lost in nature and seeing all the development is a reminder that I'm truly not.Kind of a bummer, but still, beautiful place enjoyable for all."
