Axel Tuanzebe

Axel Tuanzebe is a defender whose career has been defined by flashes of genuine quality interrupted by persistent injury problems. Coming through Manchester United's academy, he showed enough to earn loan moves and occasional first-team appearances, including a memorable clean sheet against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. Technically composed and capable of playing across the backline, he never quite nailed down a regular starting role at Old Trafford. Spells at Stoke and Ipswich followed before a move to Burnley, where he is working to rebuild consistency. Eligible for England, he has yet to earn a senior cap.
