Harry Souttar

Harry Souttar is one of the Socceroos' most physically imposing centre-backs, standing at 6'6" and capable of dominating aerial duels at both ends of the pitch. He built his reputation through years at Stoke City before a serious ACL injury interrupted his momentum ahead of the 2022 World Cup, where Australia reached the quarter-finals partly on the strength of his performances. A move to Leicester City followed, though consistent first-team football has remained elusive. Born in Scotland and raised in Australia, his international commitment was never in doubt, and he remains a cornerstone of the Socceroos' defensive structure when fit.
